Training
Giving need based training to the farmers and rural youths and updating the personnels with latest technological advances is one of the mandates of KVK. Training programmes are conducted regularly by the Kendra as per Action Plan.
Selection of Trainees
Wide publicity is given for the training programme through news papers and AIR. The training is entirely free and the Kendra meets the expenditure on meals for trainees. Trainees are selected based on eligibility criteria such as age, income and other socio economic factors. Aptitude, willingness and availability of raw materials will be ensured for selecting trainees for vocational training.
